Amritsar is a typical town from Punjab, from the old town square and narrow alleys to religious Gurudwaras including the world known Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), a delight for foodie lovers and an edge with its close proximity to Wagga Border(Indo Pak Border).
Did you see my post where I posted about the culture of Punjab by means of Sculptures – See here – Punjab’s culture in Sculptures!
In my last visit to the religious Amritsar, I went around to explore the town and some off-beat locations as well. I also went slightly outside of the town to visit a Gurudwara on a typical chilly morning. I saw these beautiful green fields all around waiting for the crops to grow as agriculture is the largest industry in the Punjab, India.
