I am a firm believer in history as I think it always something intriguing for us!! I love visiting and knowing more about the historical monuments not only while I travel outside my city, but also in my hometown. In a similar visit of mine to the majestic Humayun’s Tomb, I was expecting it to be an architectural marvel. Yet, I tripped on some beautiful doors which have caught my attention by previous such visits.
Mughal empire in India had its own grandiose in the structures. A door like the above one is a fine example of the same. How often we come across such nominal entrance yet encompassed in a flamboyant way.
The administration keeps these doors were closed and locked so I couldn’t go visit what was inside. Yet they were a delight to see!
