The Wandering Core is a travel blog for working Indian women — and the partners, families, and fellow travellers who come along for the ride.
Since 2017, I’ve been writing honest, practical travel content built around one reality most travel blogs ignore: that most of us have full-time jobs, limited annual leave, real budgets, and still refuse to stop exploring. I’m Shivani — Cloud Architect by day, founder of Zruva (a premium home textiles brand currently on Amazon UK), traveller by every other available hour — and I write for the reader who is exactly like me – a “normal” person on a budget without compromising on convenience.
Who Reads TWC
- Primary audience: Working Indian women aged 25–45, planning trips solo or with a partner around full-time corporate careers
- Content focus: India (domestic weekend escapes, hill stations, heritage destinations) and Europe (city breaks, Schengen itineraries, airline reviews)
- Blog established: 2017 — 146+ posts across India, Europe, Southeast Asia and beyond
- Newsletter: 2,500+ subscribers (active, opted-in)
- Social: Instagram | YouTube | Pinterest | Facebook
This is an audience that is actively spending on travel — flights, hotels, tours, travel gear, insurance — and looking for recommendations from someone they trust, not a generic listicle.
What I Can Do For You
Sponsored Blog Content
Honest, firsthand reviews and destination features are integrated naturally into TWC’s editorial voice. I don’t write content I wouldn’t stand behind — which is exactly why my readers trust my recommendations. Campaigns can include a dedicated post, integration into an existing high-traffic guide, or a refresh of an existing piece to feature your brand.
Best fit for: Airlines, hotels and accommodation brands, travel gear and luggage, travel insurance, tour operators, destination tourism boards, lifestyle brands relevant to working women.
Social Media Coverage
Instagram content (Reels and static posts) from trips and experiences, with a focus on authentic storytelling over polished perfection. I also cross-post to Pinterest, which drives long-tail evergreen traffic back to the blog.
Press Trips & Hosted Stays
I’m open to press trips and hosted hotel stays that align with TWC’s content — India and Europe are my primary coverage areas. I travel both solo and with my partner, so properties suitable for either work well. Our pug also occasionally joins domestic trips — pet-friendly properties, do say hello.
Reviews
Destination experiences, hotels and stays, airlines, restaurants, travel products and gadgets. I write reviews in my voice — which means you’ll get an honest account, not a brochure. If that works for you, let’s talk.
Brand Partnerships & Ambassador Roles
Long-term relationships work better than one-off posts, and I’m always open to ongoing partnerships with brands whose values align with what TWC stands for: real travel, working women, no fluff.
Zruva — My Home Textiles Brand
Outside of TWC, I’m the founder of Zruva, a premium home textiles brand currently selling bamboo bedding on Amazon UK, with expansion across the world underway. The product range is growing to include Egyptian cotton duvet covers, sofa throws, and more.
If you’re a home interiors brand, a bedding or lifestyle brand, a retailer, or a PR agency working in the home and living space — there’s a natural opportunity to collaborate across both TWC and Zruva depending on what you’re trying to achieve.
TWC’s audience of working Indian women aged 28–45 is the same demographic that invests in premium home products — the overlap is real, not forced. Content that bridges travel and home (hotel-quality sleep at home, packing tips that reference bedding, travel recovery routines) performs well and opens up cross-niche collaboration formats that most lifestyle blogs can’t offer.
For Zruva-specific enquiries — wholesale, retail partnerships, influencer collaborations, or brand cross-promotions — reach out via the same email below and mention Zruva in the subject line.

Transparency & Disclaimer
Some posts on TWC contain affiliate links for hotels, services, airlines, or products — clicking these costs you nothing extra but earns the blog a small commission that keeps it running. Where a stay, experience, or product has been received complimentary or in exchange for coverage, this is clearly disclosed within that article.
I don’t recommend, feature, or endorse anything on this blog that I wouldn’t use or stand behind myself — paid partnership or not. That’s been the rule since 2017, and it isn’t changing.
